Giulia Franzoni is post-doc at the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (DiSAA) of the University of Milan where she obtained her PhD in Agriculture, Environment and Bioenergy with a thesis on the study of the Mechanisms of action of biostimulants on crops. Currently the main interests of her research concern the cultivation, the physiological and qualitative evaluation of horticultural species in open field or greenhouse, the study of the effectiveness of biostimulant products and their role in response to abiotic stress. The management of the post-harvest of vegetables and cut foliage with the application of treatments or strategies aimed at slowing the processes of senescence.
