From January 2021 he is Full Professor at the Department of Food Science, Environment and Nutrition (DeFENS) of the University of Milan, where he leads a team engaged in the design and development of new packaging materials and high-performance packaging systems, using different approaches, such as coating technology, nanotechnology and soft chemistry.
