Masoud Ghaani obtained his master’s degree in 2014 at the Islamic Azad Univeristy of Yazd (Iran) discussing a thesis entitled: “Determination of gallic acid in food samples using a new electrochemical nano sensor”. He moved to the University of Milan, where he obtained his PhD in Food Systems in 2018. Dr. Ghaani is currently a post-doc researcher at the Department of Food Science, Environment and Nutrition (DeFENS) of the University of Milan – Food Packaging Lab, where his research interests range from the development of electrochemical sensors to the understanding of the phenomena involved in surfaces and interfaces relevant to the food packaging industry.
